Below is a list of several songs from AC/DC that were either never released in the United States or are hard to find. Some are available for purchase as imports. Others are not for sale anywhere (that I know of.)

UPDATE: Most of these songs have since been released on the AC/DC Backtracks CD set.

Unfortunately, due to copyright laws, I'm not able to provide song downloads on this site without paying licensing fees. So you'll have to find them yourself or hope that AC/DC eventually releases them someday.

I hope this satisfies the curiosity of some AC/DC fans. If this is the first time you've seen these songs (and you have all the US AC/DC albums), you'll be delighted to hear them.  My personal favorite from this list is Stick Around, followed by Crabsody in Blue.

SONGS

Rockin' in the Parlour (3 minutes, 12 seconds) - Lead singer Dave Evans, 1974?

Can I Sit Next To You Girl (3 minutes, 11 seconds) - Lead singer Dave Evans, 1974?

Fling Thing (1 minute, 54 seconds)  - Instrumental, 1974?

Stick Around (4 minutes, 40 seconds) - Released on the Australian album "High Voltage", 1974.

Love Song (5 minutes, 18 seconds) - Released on the Australian album "High Voltage", 1974.

School Days (5 minutes, 22 seconds) - Released on the Australian album "TNT", 1975.

R.I.P. (Rock in Peace) (1 minute, 25 seconds) - Released on the Australian album "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap", 1976.

Carry Me Home (3 minutes, 46 seconds) - Released on "Dog Eat Dog" single, 1977?

Cold Hearted Man (3 minutes, 30 seconds) - Released on the UK album "Powerage", 1978.

Snake Eyes (3 minutes, 11 seconds) - Released on the single "Heatseeker", 1988.

Alright Tonight (3 minutes, 57 seconds) - Created for "Blow Up Your Video"?, 1988.

Let it Loose (4 minutes, 8 seconds - poor quality) - Created for "Blow Up Your Video"?, 1988.

Borrowed Time (3 minutes, 40 seconds) - Released on the single "Moneytalks", 1990.

Down on the Borderline (4 minutes, 12 seconds) - Created for "The Razors Edge", 1990.

Big Gun - Soundtrack to movie "The Last Action Hero", 1993.

INTERVIEWS

Bon Scott (2 minutes, 53 seconds) - Interview with Bon Scott, released on "Bon Scott the Early Years 1967-1972", 1988.

Brian Johnson (41 minutes, 31 seconds) - Interview with Brian Johnson, released on "AC/DC the Interview", 1992.

The UK version of "Powerage" also has some distinct song differences from the USA/Australia recording. I think most of the songs were re-recorded on the UK album.  For example, "What's Next to the Moon" lacks many of the solos and the lyrics are even different in parts of the song.

I purchased some of the CDs via mail-order from cdconnection.com.  It seems to fluctuate as to whether or not they're selling the import CDs, so check back often.  I AM NOT SELLING OR DISTRIBUTING THESE SONGS SO DON'T E-MAIL ME ABOUT THIS!

I've been told, but have not confirmed, that there is at least one other rare song that I don't have.  It's called "Shooting Star" with Bon Scott on vocals, destined for Powerage.  If there are any other studio recordings of unreleased material, let me know!  E-mail me with your requests/suggestions/files.

Also read the AC/DC FAQ file for more good AC/DC information.
