4/3/2010 In this directory you'll find a compilation of Apple II files that were either acquired or written by Disk Crasher (-DC-) and the Shooting Star BBS. To open disk images (DSK), download CiderPress or AppleWin (search Google). Included are GBBS Pro "segment" files that made up the BBS software. These were written in the ACOS programming language and ran under ProDOS. There are also several data files from the BBS including some user lists. Also included are several assembly language applications written by -DC-, the most significant being a ProDOS virus named "Doomsday Virus" that was never released into the wild. It was capable of spreading to other executable ProDOS files on multiple drives, ultimately corrupting them after several executions. These programs were written and compiled using the Merlin assembler. -DC-
